Voting is open all week, but make sure you come in to the studio on Saturday Nov 18th 7-10p to see each piece in VR for the full experience. Winner gets $300, and we'll announce them at the end of the viewing party! 

Check out each piece, and vote for your favorite at the bottom.

How to view from your browser:

  1. Click on the artwork you want to view to activate controls.
  2. Use the arrows on your keyboard to move around (up, down, left, right.)
  3. Move the mouse to change the direction you're looking.
  4. Click again to turn off controls and resume scrolling down page.

If you don't have keyboard arrows:

  1. Click on the artwork you want to view to activate controls.
  2. Use your mouse to click and drag in any direction.
  3. Scroll up or down on your mouse to zoom in or out.
  4. Click outside of the video to turn off controls and resume scrolling down the page.

LIVE Virtual ART PERFORMANCEs

On November 11th & 12th come watch as 6 Austin artists create virtual artwork in Tilt Brush. During the competition, EAST-goers can watch artists live or try Tilt Brush for themselves. Originator Studios will upload each artist's creation to our website for online voting. 

You're then invited to our viewing party November 18th 7-10pm to put on a headset, see each piece for yourself, and vote in person for your favorite. At the end of the night, we'll announce the winner!

Adam Ziskie

Adam Ziskie

Adam is a graphic designer and visual artist who spent many years working as an Illustrator before turning his attention to branding and identity design. He has led mural projects at Facebook HQ and illustrated multiple children’s books. His artwork has been shown extensively in the Bay Area and has been featured in Juxtapoz, Hi-Fructose, and Supersonic Art. When not working, Adam can be found desperately searching for shade from the Texas sun.

Deborah Ledyard

Abstract artist, Deborah Ledyard's work weaves together meditations of the past, present, and future barring the hindrance of time. In her private studio,in Austin, Texas, she exercises color and the iconic imagery to create mixed media artwork that taps unconscious memories in the viewer. Ledyard’s abstract paintings can currently be viewed at: SprATX Gallery 2400 E Cesar Chavez St #316b, Austin TX 78702.

Liza Fishbone

Liza Fishbone is a public and performance artist, whose work is primarily focused on exploring Space and Home. Through interactive play spaces, painting, and chalk, she invites the viewer to be overtaken by the worlds she creates. To explore the feeling of belonging in one place and many places simultaneously, a surreal universe that challenges people to question their reality, interact with one another, and rediscover their sense of childlike wonder.

Bing is a multimedia digital artist and designer who specializes in various stylistic illustrations and visual design, and is proficient in video editing and 3D modeling. With years of experience in advertising and animation, he's explored and mastered the efficient way of creation, and he believes that the application of new technology is key to improve the painting creation process. Currently he is working on his own personal manga.

Jillian McCann

Within her work, Jillian’s intention is to break the boundary of the fourth wall. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she has been creating theatrical vignettes since she was a child. Having a background in improvisational theater and the circus arts, she is constantly inspired by alter egos, strong character development and the exploration of sexuality. Her craft is a melting pot of various forms of self expression- collapsing and colliding to create interactive installations that share a powerful narrative.
