Capabilities & Fit
What types of video content do you produce?

Commercials, comedy specials, live event and broadcast production, social media video, post-production, and VR/immersive experiences, most of our projects blend two or more of these.

Do you specialize in any particular industry or brand category?

Not really, we are nomads in that sense. We’ve worked with brands in just about every industry, and we’re always up for something new.

Can you handle both the creative and production side, or do you just execute our concepts?

Both. We can execute a fully developed agency concept, or come in earlier and help shape the creative, most of our best work happens somewhere in the middle.

How do you approach comedic content? is that a requirement or just an option?

It is an option, not a requirement. Comedy is our sharpest edge, but the underlying skills, storytelling, pacing, performance direction, apply to every project, funny or not.

Do you shoot in Austin only, or do you travel for production?

We are based in Austin with an office in Baton Rouge, but we have built crew relationships across the US and internationally, and we have produced on every major continent except Antarctica.

Can you handle large-scale shoots, or are you better suited for smaller, nimble productions?

Both. We have run single-camera shoots with a crew of three and multi-cam live broadcasts with a crew of 50, with the same senior leadership on every project regardless of scale.

Do you own your own equipment, or do you rent?

Both. We own a core kit built around nimble Sony FX cinema packages, and bring in ARRI motion-picture packages and multi-cam broadcast systems as needed, so the toolkit matches the project instead of the other way around.

PROCESS & WORKING RELATIONSHIP
What does your typical production process look like from brief to delivery?

It starts with a real conversation about your goals, not just the deliverables. From there we move through pre-production, production, and post under one roof, keeping you informed without burying you in unnecessary check-ins.

Who will actually be on set directing ?

Derek and Willie, unless you have another director. We work well being brought onto a team, or handling it internally.

How do you handle creative feedback and revisions?

We build structured review points into post so feedback gets incorporated efficiently, and we will always tell you honestly if a note works against the piece.

Are you comfortable working within an agency's existing creative framework, or do you prefer to lead creative?

Either, depending on what you need. We are agency-fluent, we understand approvals, brand guidelines, and legal reviews, and equally comfortable leading creative from the concept stage.

How do you handle last-minute changes or tight turnarounds?

We build backups and contingencies into the planning phase specifically so we can roll through the unexpected without the chaos ever showing on screen. And we are used to working fast!

What does your pre-production process look like, and how involved do we need to be?

Pre-production is where we do the bulk of the problem-solving, pre-vising, storyboards, testing, and planning, so showtime is as close to surprise-free as possible. We will tell you exactly where we need your input and when.

Do you work with a dedicated crew, or does it change project to project?

Our core leadership is consistent on every project; crew size and specialists scale up or down depending on scope, from a one-camera team to a crew of 50.

EXPERIENCE & CREDIBILITY
What notable brands or agencies have you worked with?

Nike (Air Jordan), YouTube, Netflix, Red Bull, Facebook, Amazon Prime, and others across tech, retail, sports, and entertainment.

Can you share case studies or examples of past agency work?

Yes, see our Portfolio and the case studies on each capability page, including our Netflix, Amazon Prime, and national PBS-broadcast work.

You have a comedy niche — can you still deliver serious, straightforward branded content?

Absolutely. Comedy is our sharpest edge, but the underlying skills apply to everything we make, the comedic instinct just means we know how to keep it from being boring.

Have you worked on national campaigns, or is your experience mostly regional?

Both. Our work has aired on Netflix and Amazon Prime and run in national brand campaigns, and we are equally comfortable on regional projects where we move fast and stay nimble.

What's the most complex production you've executed?

Our live event work sets the bar, from a 10-hour livestream with zero drop-off to a multi-camera broadcast of a real high-altitude balloon launch to the edge of space.

LOGISTICS & BUSINESS
What is your typical budget range — is there a project minimum?

Branded commercials and social content typically run $15,000 to $150,000+, depending on scope. We do not have a hard minimum, but we will always tell you upfront if a budget is not realistic for what you are trying to accomplish.

How do you structure your pricing — day rates, project fees, or retainers?

Most projects are quoted as flat project fees covering pre-production, production, and post. We also offer retainer arrangements for ongoing content relationships.

Do you offer retainer relationships for ongoing content production?

Yes, for brands and agencies with recurring content needs, we structure retainer arrangements so pricing and turnaround stay predictable.

What does your availability look like, and how far out do you book?

We are used to taking on multiple projects at once, but will always be honey if we are overbooked. Reach out whenever a project comes up, never too early or too late!

Do you have a studio space, and is it available for client use?

Yes, our East Austin studio is available for client shoots, photo production, and equipment rental, and since we are both the production company and the studio, coordination is seamless.

Can you handle post-production, or do we need to bring in our own editor?

We can handle post as a standalone service — editing, color correction, and sound. Our best work happens when we are involved from the start, since decisions made on set affect what is possible in the edit.

Do you work with union or non-union crew?

Both! Depending on the project and location, we have done both union and non-union shoots and are comfortable navigating that landscape

What deliverable formats do you provide, and can you handle platform-specific versioning?

Yes. Alongside your primary deliverable, we provide platform-optimized cuts, vertical edits, shorter social cuts, and thumbnail variants, planned for from day one.

TRUST & RISK REDUCTION
Do you have experience working with legal and compliance requirements for regulated industries?

We regularly work with brands in Pharma & Healthcare and Financial Services & Insurance, so we are used to navigating legal review and compliance requirements as part of the process.

What happens if something goes wrong on set — how do you handle it?

We plan for it before it happens, engineering backups and contingencies into pre-production specifically so we can roll through the unexpected without the client or audience ever seeing it.

How do you protect our brand assets and maintain confidentiality during production?

We use standard NDA or any asset-handling policy you want!
