The last thing any event producer needs is more complications. Our approach to event video production is simple: listen, plan, give honest feedback, plan some more, execute the plan while having a darn tootin’ good time in the process. When it comes to events, we like to solve all the problems ahead of time so when the show starts, it’s all popcorn and no surprises...well there’s always surprises…We make the surprises go down easy like butter.
Plans are Paramount
Pre-pro is everything. Finding solutions to problems that haven’t happened yet is how we approach event shoots. Whether that’s pre-vising set pieces, setting up a mock event in our studio, testing and retesting signal flows and graphics queues, or having those long run of show discussions with the whole team, we like to feel like the bulk of the work is done before showtime.
Calm in the Chaos
Things happen. Variables change. That person that rehearsed that bit for three days had an emergency and can’t show up. We’ve seen it all, which means we don't panic. We bring a cool, calm, and collected vibe to the backstage chaos, so the audience only sees a flawless show.
Backups are Golden
Events only happen once, so it’s crucial to have backups and to avoid single points of failure. We engineer second changes into the planning phase so we can roll right through the unexpected.
Really Reliable
Without getting to the technical trenches, there are lots of ways to capture and broadcast images these days, but a lot of them suck. Especially in a live setting. Our experience in this space allows us to identify the most reliable equipment and solutions that are made to hold up to the stresses of event production.
