Originator Studios provides a wide range of high end video production services. We have an extensive crew base in Austin as well as many international crew contacts. Over 10 years in the making, we continue to work with large corporate clients, small & medium-sized businesses, startups, nonprofits, and (when we have minute to spare) we make original content.

We are a tight team of producers, writers and directors that are versed in all aspects of the video production cycle. We own state of the art event production and cinema production equipment, as well as a production facility.

VR Development

In 2015, we tried on our first VR headset (an HTC Vive developer kit). Being visual storytellers, tons of tiny axons in our brain exploded all at once. We immediately set up a partnership with our friends at Moontower VFX, and started Hybrid VR. We found a niche of developing fun, branded VR, AR, and live web experiences for our corporate clients.

As the years progressed we’ve combined our video expertise with VR development knowledge to offer Mixed Reality services. We continue to be on the forefront of the XR (extented reality – Encompases all VR & AR) technology industry for our clients, and are constantly exploring new ways for audiences to engage with brands.

Studio Rental

Our 800 square foot soundstage is open for public reservation by the day or week. The studio features a pre-lit two-wall cyc with motorized raising/lowering lighting grid, green room, makeup room and kitchen. The space is fully soundproofed and the AC runs cold and quiet!

The space can be customized to fit your production needs and has been used for music videos, corporate interviews, product shots, photo shoots, fashion shoots, short films, TV shows, and feature films.

VR Arcade

Enjoy the latest VR games by the hour! Our unique space is customized for group VR gaming parties, dates, company outings, etc. Our dual headset setup provides plenty of space for our players to dodge duck (don’t dive) around their virtual space. We also provide 2 projector screens and seating for others in the group to join in on the fun!
Whether it’s with friends or company gatherings, our studio is a perfect space for VR gaming.
