Austin toy company Gel Blaster had just launched a glow-in-the-dark line of blasters, and they came to us with a simple ask: capture the thrill of a nighttime blaster battle for kids and grown-ups alike. We pitched a concept starring everyone's favorite (and possibly misunderstood) mythological creature, the Sasquatch, lurking through the piney woods with a trick up its hairy sleeve. The Gel Blaster team loved it, and we got to work.

We took the production out to the woods of Bastrop, where those piney woods had us looking over our shoulder for real. Madison Miller's makeup work brought our Sasquatch to life, and Demetrious Murray really tuned into his inner beast. An all-star cast and crew, along with plenty of strong coffee, carried us through the night shoot. The result is a spot that feels like a campfire story come to life with a movie-grade monster at the helm.
